We’ve had our eye on this coffee for over a year now and we’re glad to finally have it for you. This coffee's distinctive pear notes are hard to resist! A tribute to the year-round hard work of the farmers, Sabino & Maria Jesus.

When you visit Sabino and Maria Jesus you are stepping back in time. You may still see Sabino using two oxen to pull a cart or to plow a field before planting, and you'll find a soup boiling on a hearth in the kitchen. We are able to get this coffee through our friends at Gold Mountain Coffee Growers.

Gold Mountain works with coffee producers, including Sabino and Maria, to connect directly with roasters such as us. This means a higher pay for the farmers while carrying out projects in the communities, including free computer classes, micro-credist, running water, books, and educational supplies in local schools. We feel privileged to be one of the few who had the opportunity to purchase and roast this coffee and offer it to you.
